Fritz has several Glatt 120 WSG Fluidized Bed Coaters for your processing needs. Most of the units are dedicated for water based coating systems. One has hot-melt coating capabilities, as well as water based coating. These units are designed to perform both encapsulation and agglomeration processes. In the encapsulation process, a film is formed around a particle by atomizing the coating into the bed that is fluidized in a flow of air. In the agglomeration process, a binder is sprayed into the fluidized particles, increasing the particle size. For product development, Fritz has a Glatt 5 WSG Fluidized Bed Coater. This unit is available for both new product development, coating process scale-up, and trouble shooting large scale processes.
