Description

Our Tartaric acid is a fine white powder screened by a 60 mesh. Tartaric acid is a natural molecule that makes unripe grapes and other fruits taste sour. Tartaric acid is used as a flavoring agent, used in making silver mirrors, used in tanning leather and making blueprints. Since Tartaric acid is a dry acid it is sometimes mixed with sodium bicarbonate to produce carbon dioxide gas when water is added.
